Emergency upgrade – 07:00 – 09:00 Tuesday 9th April
There will be an emergency upgrade to the core network infrastructure due to recently discovered security vulnerabilities.
Core network infrastructure will be rebooted during this time, which will commence from 07:00.
Emergency upgrade – 08:00 – 10:00 Tuesday 2nd April
There will be an emergency upgrade on the wireless infrastructure due to recently discovered security vulnerabilities.
Several outages to the wireless access will occur during the upgrade process, which will commence from 08:00.
Turnitin scheduled maintenance
Turnitin will be unavailable between 14:00 and 18:00 on Saturday 16 March 2024 for scheduled maintenance.

Network is at Risk – 26th of March
The network is at risk between 7am and 10am Tuesday 26th March to carry out critical updates on the University’s firewall.

Information Services is carrying out planned system maintenance to MyAdmin and Unit4 ABW (Finance and HR System). The systems will be unavailable on Thursday 7th March between 08:00-18:00. This includes access to the web interface https://abw.aber.ac.uk/ for purchase orders, viewing reports, absences etc and also myadmin.aber.ac.uk. We will let you know when the service will be restored through our website, our blog and through X.
